Quilt Auction Results!

It was a beautiful day at Carol Joy Holling and a great success! As a part of our board sanctioned policy that no child will be turned away because they can't pay the fee, a record number of campers came to CJH this year on a partial or full scholarship. All of the proceeds from the Quilt Auction make this policy possible.

Here are a few of the statistics from the day:

• 382 quilts (a handful of those are wood items)
• Gazillions of quilters - that's an official count!
• 10,534 gallons of water consumed to ward off the heat and humidity
  
• 700 people in attendance
• $15,000 in sponsorship funds
• $62,000 in quilt sales
• Approx. $5000 in lunch, concession and miscellaneous donations
• Total raised - more than $80,000!

Thanks to all of the quilters, volunteers, and quilt buyers. The Quilt Auction is a highlight of the year for so many at CJH and this year's event did not disappoint!
