Camp is a great place for the family to connect, learn more about each other, and to grow in faith. All family programs include swimming, boating, hiking, creative arts, games and a cookout.

Grand Camp

Grand Camp is all about linking grandparents with grandchildren. Each grandparent/grandchild pair will share stories, play games, talk about faith, pray together and enjoy time around the campfire. Activities are designed to help build a stronger intergenerational relationship.

This special three-day, two-night program is for grandparents with grandchildren in first through sixth grade. One-on-one time is an important part of this camp experience, so we ask that grandparents bring just one grandchild at a time. Each adult and child will share an air-conditioned Sjogren Retreat Center room.

Activities include a fun campfire, paddleboats, worship, a Bible study, cookout, swimming, creative arts and more!

Cost is $285 per pair.

Taste of Camp

Just getting started on the Carol Joy Holling adventure trail? Then Taste of Camp is for you! It's an adult-child experience at Carol Joy Holling Camp. Meet our great staff, check out the camp site, get a taste of the CJH program and spend quality time together.

Taste of Camp is a 24-hour program for campers in kindergarten through 2nd grade (2011-2012) school year) AND a special adult. Bring mom, dad, a grandparent, godparent or favorite aunt or uncle.

Activities include hayrack ride, cookout, swimming, boating, Bible study, worship, creative arts, Sno Kones and more!

Cost is $125 per pair and includes a CJH t-shirt for each participant.

Family Camp

Family Camp is for busy families wanting to spend quality time together. It is perfect for people of all ages, from toddlers to grandparents and any kind of family configuration. Your stay at camp will include lots of time for your family to have fun, relax, enjoy each other and make new friends. Some activities are age specific, while others are for the whole group. Bring the family and join in 24-hours of fun! Our staff will make your stay one you and your family will remember for years to come.

Activities include Bible study, boating, swimming, hiking, games, silly songs, sno kones, sand volleyball and more!

Cost is $125 for two and $50 for each additional person with a maximum of $225 per family (using one Sjogren Retreat Center room.) Children under 6 are free.

Housing

All Family Camp Programs will be housed in the comfortable, air-conditioned Sjogren Center. The building features rooms with two double beds, a sink and a desk. Restrooms with showers are located just down the hall.
