Jay Novicki Programs

Jay Novicki programs provide participants with special needs an opportunity to make new friends, enjoy the outdoor setting and grow in faith.

Participants will enjoy a fun camp experience including activities such as a hay rack ride, boating and fishing, a cookout, creative arts project and sharing in prayer and worship. An accessible golf cart, hay rack and pontoon boat make activities available for all, including those who use wheelchairs.

Participants

•     Youth program events are designed for participants ages 13-21.
•     Adult program events are designed for the “over 21” audience.

Those needing assistance with tasks of daily living (e.g. eating, showering or using the restroom) must bring an assistant/aide. Please list specific needs of the participant on the registration form or attach a note with details. Please note these facilities are not 100% handicap accessible. Day Camp Programs

Day Camps are usually four hours long and give participants a taste of camp. Come join in the fun of boating and fishing, cooking a tasty meal over the campfire, studying the Bible, praying together, creative arts and more! Each month will bring new activities and a new theme; and at only $10/session you can’t afford to miss out on the fun!

Since the Jay Novicki Program has been generously subsidized by a donor, the cost for the program is just $10 for Day Camp. Full payment for Day Camp is due at the time of registration. Reservations will not be honored until payment is received. Spaces are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration deadline for all events is one week prior to the event.

Overnight Summer Camp Program

Can’t get enough of camp? Then sign up for the overnight camp experience. Come join in the fellowship, laughter and fun as we cook our own meals, make s’mores, star gaze and worship around the campfire. Other program options include a ride on the pontoon boat, fishing, a tour of camp on the accessible hayrack or the challenge of the accessible high ropes course.

Overnight participants will stay in the Sjogren Retreat Center at Carol Joy Holling. The Sjogren Center is equipped with the comforts of home including dormitory style bedrooms, restrooms, large inviting gathering spaces and outside decks overlooking God’s creation.

The cost of this program is $205 with a $50 deposit due at the time of registration.

Overnight camp participants will receive a Summer Camp t-shirt at the end of their camp session. The cost is included with registration.
