Camp Drop off and Pick up

Camp Check-In

Check-in time for all sessions is 3 - 4:30 p.m. Check-in will begin promptly at 3 p.m., but not earlier, as staff need time to get prepared for campers. Programming on each site begins promptly at 4:30, so if you will be arriving late, please call to let us know your estimated time of arrival.

All campers will check in at a central location except those who will be staying in the Sjogren Retreat Center. They will check in at the Retreat Center. Do not unpack your car until you are checked in and on your site.

At check-in campers will deposit their spending money in the “Camp Bank,” check in with the Health Care staff and turn in all medications.

From there you will be directed to your camper’s site, where staff will be on hand to help unload gear and get campers settled. After meeting the counselor, parents are asked to say a brief and encouraging good-bye.

New for 2011: After dropping campers off at their sites, parents are welcome to return to the picnic area at Angel’s Gulch (where registration will be happening) for a BBQ. The BBQ will be ongoing with parents cooking their own hotdogs/smores over the campfire. Director/Programs David Bragg will talk to the parents at 4:15, answering questions and giving more information about the week ahead, safety procedures at camp, and more!

Camper Pick-up

Each session ends with a closing worship service at 3 p.m. Families and friends are invited to this service. We will be done around 4 p.m., at which time you can go with your camper to their site to get their gear and sign out with the Site Coordinator. All campers need to be signed out by an authorized person. All campers are to be picked up by 4:15 p.m.
