Confirmation Camp

Confirmation camp is one of the most effective forms of mutual ministry that NLOM offers. Ministry leaders bring their students to camp and lead an hour of class time each morning, enabling the ministry and students to stay connected in the summer for additional learning and/or review of the church-year curriculum. Students spend the rest of their time (including overnight supervision) being led through life-changing programming experiences by our well-trained college-aged Summer Ministry Team of Christian role models. A week at camp offers students the chance to experience our high-ropes challenge courses, boating, horse riding, and care if at Ranch Camp, team building activities that promote teamwork, creative arts, fishing, and directly experiencing the beauty of God's creation. Both students and leaders take great joy in making new friendships (and renewing old ones if your group has already participated in Confirmation Camp). At the heart of a Confirmation Camp week at NLOM is fantastic fellowship and camaraderie for leaders with other leaders and for students with peers from other Lutheran churches. We are eager to serve you and your group - come once and this will quickly become an annual event!

Simply choose the session that works best for your schedule and then encourage your campers to register. All sessions will be given a portion of the morning to present your own curriculum. For more information, check out our guide for ministry leaders.
