In August, we traveled to the Mosaic campus in Beatrice, where we led 50 individuals through craft-making, inflatable archery, and worship. Together we enjoyed a camp classic treat, Sno Kones.
In September, we traveled to one of the Mosaic day hubs in Omaha, where we played parachute games, experienced dry land fishing, made fishy crafts, and shared hot dogs and s'mores with about 35 participants.
We are in our second year offering the Jay Novicki Traveling Day Camp program to the communities around Lincoln and Omaha.
With each Jay Novicki Traveling Day Camp, the host organization can choose from two tiers, each providing 2 to 3 hours of programming. Activities may include adaptive archery, rhythm exploration, creative arts, outdoor education, and more!
Each individual who attends a Jay Novicki Traveling Day Camp leaves with a special blue cuppie with the Jay Novicki Day Camp logo.
